About Soccatoos
Soccatoos is a dedicated soccer activity and development program.
We are just for preschoolers.
Since our formal establishment in 2006, we have delighted in providing more than ten thousand hours of soccer fun for young children.
We are wholly Australian developed, owned and operated.
Soccatoos was created in metropolitan Sydney, in the local government area which is home to the largest amateur soccer association in the southern hemisphere.
The Soccatoos concept evolved from successful nursery soccer programs conducted independently at two large amateur soccer clubs for more than 10 years.
The Soccatoos team (including its owners/operators and senior coaching staff) represents collectively many hundreds of years of soccer particpation, involvement and administrative experience.
All senior Soccatoos coaching staff hold relevant Australia Sports Commission / Football Federation Australia soccer coaching accreditation. All remain involved in amateur soccer in various roles and levels.
The Soccatoos team also includes tertiary qualified and experienced childcare industry professionals. Many have previous specific nursery soccer coaching experience.
Soccatoos people are passionate about soccer and most have children involved in soccer. All Soccatoos coaches receive dedicated induction and ongoing training. A childcare industry consultant provides us with appropriate guidance and support. All coaching staff are suitably screened to ensure child protection standards are upheld. We don't rely solely on minimum legal compliance requirements.
Soccatoos also seeks to foster at an early age, the healthy habit of regular exercise. At the same time, for those children choosing to continue playing soccer, Soccatoos seeks to provide participants with an introduction to the fundamentals of soccer, thereby fostering self confidence and maximising enjoyment.
Our program focus is on the children. We maintain small classes and operate with low child child to coach ratios - consistent with child care industry standards and Football Federation Australia Small Sided Football guidelines. We are deliberately not franchised, allowing us to be more accomodating, forgiving and understanding.
